At Monterenzio, every summer, takes place this traditional event that promotes new suggestions for anyone looking for a colorful dining options, a party, which has become a key event in time to experience opportunities for knowledge and recollection, in a picturesque and unique place along the creek and next to the Archaeological Museum "Luigi Fantini", between history and fantasy, where visitors are welcomed into the evocative landscape of the Tuscan Emilian Apennines only 30 km from Bologna. There is a place near the pass Raticosa that still is called: "the Brenn house", right here, next to us.
During the "Fires of Taranis" you will feel the atmosphere of the ancient peoples of our country entering the tents and camps, crossing the threshold of their homes, talking with them and hearing the scent of food and spices, it will be a real jump back in time, with the intention of leaving a story idea related to what is common and what is drawn together every day of life, the battles will last an afternoon, what matters is the rest of the time. A party with the patronage of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, the Emilia Romagna Region and the Province of Bologna. Many activities throughout the day. You will find the food stand of "The Cooks of Taranis", with Celtic dishes. There will be entertainment at the village set up by groups of re-enactors including crafts, cooking, training in arms.
