The reenactment of the battle of Azincourt is held every year on the actual location of the battle, which on 25 October 1415 saw the victory of the English King Henry V over the French army during the Hundred Years War.
During the festival, the site hosts the medieval military camp, jousting tournaments, fighting displays, archery, music and dance shows. Artisans demonstrate their crafts, such as net making, shoemaking, working with leather and pottery. The public of all ages is involved in various competitions and workshops designed to give everyone the opportunity to take part in this great recreation of the medieval life. The highlight of the event is the famous battle of the Middle Ages, reenacted by hundreds of participants from different countries.
